Hello Tubman Tigers,

My name is Sarah Lopez and I am so excited to be teaching 8th grade ELA & Social Studies this year! I have been apart of the Tubman family since 2012 and I have loved every second! I've worked with the Extended Day program and transitioned to teaching in 2020. During my time with the Extended Day Program, I have had the privilege of creating and coaching our AMAZING cheer team! You can still catch me rooting on our Cheer team with my whole heart! 

I am a San Diego native! I received my Bachelors from San Diego State university, where I majored in Child and Family Development. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family! My 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son keep me busy and on my toes at all time. We love going for walks, playing board games, and watching anime together! You can always count on me having a book or kindle with me at ALL times ❤️
